Lip Fillers In Newcastle

Lip fillers involve injecting a substance found naturally in our body, hyaluronic acid, into the lips to enhance its natural features.

Like with all my treatments I assess the face as well as the lip to ensure proportions are kept natural with the face.

We then use the filler to improve the volume in the body of the lip and in some cases subtly add  definition to the border of the lip.

In most cases I use a cannula to carry out the procedure which allows us to keep the injections to two small holes at the side of the mouth in which the cannula can access all areas of the lip. This helps reduce the risk of complications and bruising.

The filler that we use is then eventually naturally broken down by the body over the course of approximately to 12 months

FAQS

Although the lips have a reputation for being an uncomfortable treatment Dr Kane has developed a number of methods to make the procedure more comfortable. Numbing cream Is used as well as injecting a small amount of numbing agent into the area to make the procedure as comfortable as possible.

There is no specific downtime to the procedure itself. Rarely there can be a small amount of swelling for the first day or two but not to the extent were it would prohibit daily activities

How long will the treatment last?

The results will last approximately 12 months

Will a cannula or needle be used?
